WAAPP (Agricultural Productivity West Africa) is a regional program that has been implemented in 13 countries Economic Community of the States of the West Africa (ECOWAS). Its objectives are to generate and disseminate improved technologies to boost the productivity of the priority agricultural sectors of the program's beneficiary countries. It started in 2008 under the aegis of ECOWAS with funding from the World Bank. The Executive Secretariat of CORAF is responsible for the regional coordination of the program.
During this wrap-up, it will be a question of sharing the achievements of the implementation of the WAAPP program and agreeing on the provisions good closure of the program at the end of December 2019. The Regional Steering Committee will analyze the overall performance of the program and suggest directions for improvement.
